Martin is our co-host on the Podcast and we wanted to share his exciting news today.
Martin was diagnosed with Stage 4 terminal lung cancer back in January 2022.
The actual name of Martin's particular cancer is "Carcinoma Lung Cancer" and is inoperable so the only course of action was medication.
After two different treatments and Chemotherapy Martin under the advice and request of his Oncologists was offered a new Trial drug called "Lorlatinib".
Below are two CT Scans of Martin's Lung, the first image was taken in the early stages of the diagnosis whilst the second image was taken after his recent scan in early this Month March 2024.
The second image clearly shows just how much cancer has shrunken away using this new trial drug "Lorlatinib", it's a remarkable result and we can only be jubilant about the news and success thus far.
Martin (and all of us here at "Who's Tom & Dick) would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Daniel Patterson and his team at the West Suffolk Hospital for their incredible work, support, and care and to achieve such an incredible result today.
Please note "Lorlatinib" may not be suitable for all cancers, and in this case, it is specific for Lung Cancer, we would advise you to discuss this drug with your Oncologist as to its suitability.
